Retail Warehouse Refurbishment

Acting for Britel Fund Trustees Ltd, Redbourn have been instructed to completely refurbish the existing Elgar Retail Park.

The proposals comprise the re-modeling of the existing units, re-cladding, introduction of brickwork, new entrances and widespread environmental enhancements, including additional landscaping, car park enhancements and signage. The existing 2 retail units will be reconfigured to provide 4 new units.

Re-imaging of feature/customer elevations to provide more modern amenity. Removal of tiled walk-way canopy, and replacement elevation treatment to include existing brickwork at low level, with Kingspan composite cladding at high level finished to new parapet. New entrance features will also be introduced, including bi-parting doors and side screens, together with areas of display glazing to new unit entrance areas. Entrance zones are also to feature glazed canopy.

The scheme also includes main site entrance widening works to improve traffic flows into and out of the park, and enhancement to the parking areas which include minor repairs, white lining and lighting.
